Vorteq 5.6 RIB
The second smallest boat in the Vorteq range is the 5.6m
Hull is developed for people with restricted storage space and wanting the most compact model.
The 5.6m has a unique deep āVā hull form, so that operations in choppy waters are comfortable with the ride being soft and fast.
The pronounced spray rails not only strengthen the hull but provide lift for fast acceleration and economical running. You do not need a big thirsty outboard to power this craft.
The bow of the boat turn-up with a noticeable sheer. This ensures dry running in rough seas with little tendency to plunge into oncoming waves. Safe and very secure.
Hull is designated for long shaft motors. Though the hull is strong enough for even bigger motors we recommend something between 60hp and 90hp.
All hulls are constructed using a polymer core around super tough laminate skins. This reduces weight for increase performance and increases toughness so that micro cracking of the laminate does not happen.
Inflatable tubes are constructed of polyurethane which is infinitely more environmentally friendly than either PVC or Hypalon. (No chlorine is used in the production process)
Polyurethane is over ten times tougher than PVC and Hypalon. It does not degrade in strong sunlight and resists high U/V levels. All seams are computer controlled welded together with a edge free super smooth finish. No tapes are needed as the joints are so strong. No hazardous glues or solvents are used in the construction.
